Our broad utility-based product range of knives caters to both professionals as well as home cooks. All our knives are made with the best quality hard and flexible blades with laser-tested cutting angles, which guarantee sharper blades for long-use and high edge retention. Our steel is made of 100% recycled Martensitic Stainless Steel, which makes our products flexible hence less breakable.
What makes the Victorinox Butcher’s knife ideal for cooking?
Victorinox butcher’s knives have extremely sturdy blades that come in different shapes and are available for various applications. The light weight of the fibrox handle along with the finger protectors ensures comfortable usage and helps in preventing wrist pain from long-use. Whether you need to chop raw chicken or duck, this poultry-chopper will become an essential tool for your kitchen.
What material is used for this knife’s handle?
Fibrox: Characterized by a spongy feel, the fibrox material of the handle combines the easy processing of thermoplastics with the beneficial properties of elastomers. They are extremely flexible, very strong, and benefit from notch impact strength, even at low temperatures. Fibrox materials can be used at temperatures of up to 80 - 110°C.
What makes this product safe to use in your kitchen?
The handles are colour-coded according to the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) preventative system – adhering to international food regulations. The scope of application for each knife is thus determined by the color of its handle. Yellow – as in the case of Victorinox Safety Nose Slaughter & Butcher’s Knife – is primarily to represent its use for poultry.
Fibrox handles are professional chef-grade and minimize hazards and risks in the kitchen – in case of a fire, they will melt but not catch fire.
